Founded in 1949 in Barrie, Ontario, the Barrie Art Club (BAC) is a non-profit organization run entirely by dedicated volunteer members. For more than 75 years, our studio, gallery, and workshops have welcomed both members and non-members, offering a creative space where people can learn, explore, and connect through art.

Today, the BAC has grown into a vibrant community resource for artists of all experience levels — from seasoned professionals to those just beginning their creative journey. With nearly 250 members, including artists from across Canada, we foster inspiration, camaraderie, and ongoing art education.

At our core, the Barrie Art Club is a safe, inclusive, and inviting space for anyone who loves art. Our mission is to nurture creativity, support artistic growth, and strengthen the cultural fabric of our community.
