Angela Scott – Featured Artist
Theme: Tides, Twilight and Colour
June 1st – June 27th, 2026
Angela Scott is a multidisciplinary artist working primarily in acrylic, although watercolour was her first medium beginning at the age of ten. She also enjoys exploring oil, mixed media, and photography as part of her artistic practice. Inspired by her love of snorkeling and scuba diving, Angela captures the calming beauty of beach and ocean landscapes in many of her works, while her appreciation for nature is reflected in her landscape scenes. More recently, she has expanded her artistic style to include bold pop art interpretations of animals and people, bringing colour, personality, and energy to her collection. In her younger years, Angela also enjoyed charcoal life drawing, which helped shape her appreciation for form, expression, and composition.
Angela has loved drawing and painting since childhood and studied art at Sheridan College. Although art remained a personal passion rather than a career, she returned to painting after raising her family and rekindled her creativity while living part-time in Barbados. Surrounded by the island’s natural beauty and inspired by a lifelong desire to keep learning, Angela continues to explore new techniques and artistic expressions in her work.
